Amla Lemonade Recipe
Amla Lemonade Recipe:
- 1 tsp of Amla (start with a 1/2 tsp if it’s your first time!)
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- Stevia or honey to taste
- 6 ounces of water
- A pinch of pink Himalayan salt
Combine in a cup and enjoy!

- Amla is food like and safe to consume. You can easily find it in it’s powdered form from reputable herb dispensers like Mountain Rose Herbs
- It’s pretty economical to buy in this powder form and has other uses!
- Amla is GREAT for your hair, you can add it to your henna hair dye or any hair mask.
- Amla has the highest known amount of vitamin C in any fruit, it blows orange juice out of the water!
- Although the fruit is green, the powder is brown when you purchase it
- Amla comes in many other preparations you may be able to find at an indian grocery store or online, but watch out many preparations may be packed with sugar to mask the not so pleasant taste
- Amla lemonade can be taken daily, in fact drinking this daily would have an array of lovely benefits on your health
